Woke up at 0540, wash up get prepared and headed for Golden Mile.
Reached my house bus-stop and SMS Kai saying i waiting for the bus.
Reached Golden Mile around 0645 still haven't received any rely from Kai. I called X7 and still no answers. I guess die liaoz, confirmed he overslept last night playing game. HENG i got his house number and called his mother to wake him up.
Bus to depart at 0700, Kai called me still at home. Wah sian i very lost.
Imagine he cannot make it then I got to go Genting and KL alone!
I boarded the bus and told the driver Kai would be late and where can he meet us.
He replied saying to meet us, at the bus-stop before Second link.
We reached the bus-stop before the Second link around 0745, got to apologize to everyone and waited another 20mins before Kai rushed down.
Damn paiseh.

Malaysia's Immgrisen after TUAS Second link, also very new complex.

Their poll station which is similar too our ERP system but manual. I think the Malaysians are laughing at the Singaporeans paying ridiculous amount to use a short distance of road.
In Malaysia, 1 toll to another toll could be from Changi to Jurong and costs around RM5 approx SGD $3

First meal in Malaysia at Yong Peng a very famous and big rest point. I ordered their famous Ipoh Hor Fun, really taste different from SG's style. The gravy is not so thick and chicken meat taste tender.

Our Mean Machine Snoozer seat Super personal entertainment system worth upgrading. Next time you all travel by coach must try.

The passenger seated in front of me was a family of 3. Parents with a small boy around 2-3yrs. So cute watch Xiao Ding Dang. My age might be the same boy when I first visited Genting.

Last rest point before entering KL. The flats here are similar to our HDB flats. This road is very wide around 100 -200m.

Genting cable car, anyone taken a ride before?

Chinese temple indicating we are very near Genting.

Our theme park ticket costs RM33 each.

Didn't play, too chicken

Colorful First World Hotel, biggest in the world.

Stupid haunted house ride, not props of ghosts, only eerie music and graffiti on the walls.

On the pirate ship, shocked beyond expression

A foodcourt inside First World selling Taiwanese food.

First meal in Genting : Taiwanese OMU rice

Chance upon this posh and famous restaurant called "Olive" inside Resort hotel, where they displayed live lobsters.

You can bathe choosing the ceiling shower or the usual shower head.

Designer shower - head.

View of Genting from our suite

After check out, we went to First World to eat breakfast and walk around, as the bus terminal is located there.

Breakfast at Marybrown similar to KFC : Nasi Lemak and free flow of tea.
All photos below taken inside First World Hotel

A shop selling Malaysia local products at the foot of Genting.

View of the Petronas Tower along the expressway.

Similar to our SG MRT.

Our coach dropped a guest living in this luxurious and grand looking "Palace of the Golden Horses".
Upon reaching KL, started to rain heavily.

After 2.5h on the road from Genting finally reached my hotel, Berjaya Times Square. Interesting the hotel lobby is at level 14. The lobby is in the West Tower however our room was located in the East Tower. It was a long walk to our room, along the way passed a conference room booked by Herballife. Our suite is located on the 28th floor.

View of the city from our suite.
After throwing our stuff in our suite, we decided to head shop around our hotel, Bukit Bintang which is very popular with tourists.
Walked around and visted two shopping centres connected together Sungei Wang and Bukit Bintang Plaza (BBP. The upper level sells IT stuff. We walked around and spotted this stall selling mixed veggie rice.
The interesting thing is that you select the stuff you want to eat. Unlike SG whereby the stall owner scoops for you. The food is also very cheap rice, 2 veggie, 2 meat and 1 drink for $4!

Low Yat Plaza akin to SG Sim Lim Square or Funan Mall

KL Tower

Bus terminal akin to SG Golden Mile

Shopping centre near Petaling, Chinatown.
After visting Chinatown, headed to famous Jalan Alor to have dinner. Jalan Alor is a small lane located behind Bukit Bintang where stalls sell chinese food at a cheap price.
We ordered, Gong Bao frog legs, La La shellfish, Kai Lan and tom yum soup.
If you thought meeting a friend in SG was common, how about meeting a friend overseas?
So coincidental to meet Kiat Loon and Xin Hua in KL. We were at the same street also, Jalan Alor. They also arrived at KL not long and would depart next day 9pm. We planned to meet tomorrow noon at the Theme Park.

Kiat Loon and Xin Hua

Walking around Bukit Bintang after dinner.
14 Sept morning
Woke up and check out of hotel at 10. Then went for breakfast buffet.

Captured the magnificent view of Petronas Tower en route to breakfast walking across the hotel swimming pool.
We had a free complimentary breakfast buffet. They prepared,
Muslim: Nasi Lemak
Chinese: Chicken Porridge, Teochew Porridge, Fried Bee Hoon
Indian: Roti Prata
Western: French Toast, Salad, hams, sausages, scrambled eggs, cornflakes
Vegetarian:
I think they need more variety. The breakfast buffet i had in Thailand had much more variety.

View taken from the restaurant at 14th floor.

If you ever played "Call of Duty" this building looks like those in the game where the Soviets fought the Germans for Red Square.
The shopping centre inside Berjaya Time Square Hotel. The hotel is 43 floor high. 7 th floor is the COSMO THEME PARK with an indoor roller coaster ride. Level 1 -6 are shopping malls. Its akin to Takashimaya or Paragon a very upmarket place.
Free complimentary package to visit Berjaya Time Square's COSMO'S WORLD THEME PARK, by fivestar.
As planned met Xin Hua and Kiat Loon 1230 at Theme Park.

Notorious indoor roller coaster, did not try as there was no time and we chickened out after the hell ride.

Our first ride and a killer ride which made me treasure and appreciate life more. This ride would suspend you continuously 2- 3 storeys above ground, simulating a drop from the sky. Everyone were screaming till their guts came out!
Damn scary ride, must try !!!

This ride is similar to riding a wave but in a very fast circular motion ! The technique in this ride is to have a fat or bigger size person siting near the exit, to cushion the impact when the ride starts to spin. I guess the max speed was close to 90kn/h !
Later we went to play bumper car. So fun !!! The operator was kind enough to let us continuously play 4 rounds. I was kena aimed by them they always sandwich me LOL !!!

Us on some kiddie rides. Bring back some memories, where my mum used to bring me go Marina Square to play arcade when i was in primary school.

Group photo before heading back Singapore : Kiat Loon, Xin Hua, Me and Kai

Similar to Pasar Malam but just sell food only. I tired the fried squids on a stick and a funny drink which was red color with a tadpole - like seed. Food at this bazaar is cheap and nice. Perfect snacking items
After a 4h ride home, finally see Tuas Checkpoint again, and I'm back home.
14 Sept 8pm

Dinner at Beach Road : 2 Belgian Waffles and Dark Chocolate $4.80. The waffles are thick and fragant with some sugar coatings the choclate not too bitter but fragrant and thick. Yummy must try !!!

The only local product i bought highly recommended by Ah Kai : Shan Shu Gong Fruit Chips they have banana, jackfruit and yam. Kai mentioned its a die die must try.

The salesgirl at KL thought i was crazy, to grab 10 VCDs. It was a great steal RM129 for 10 VCDs totally costing $56. Goanna have a long time watching these videos. Btw anybody got the video for "Chicken Duck Talk"? That was my first movie i every seen by the Xu brothers, please kindly sell me if you have !!!

Finally got a 2GB XD card for RM 180 approx SGD$79. Now i can take 30mins of video in 640 resolution and 680 pictures in 6 mp fine mode. Definitely a good buy!
